Scope:

The Church Recruiting Intern serves church leaders by providing relationship-building support, communicating consistently, and organizing detail in an effort to increase the number of churches served by the Connect Ministries Team. 

Option 1 – Impact-Focused The Church Recruiting Intern helps grow the reach of Connect Ministries by building real relationships with church leaders, communicating clearly and consistently, and keeping key details organized—so more churches can be served and strengthened.

Option 2 – Growth & Leadership Angle As a Church Recruiting Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in ministry growth by connecting with church leaders, strengthening partnerships, and helping expand the impact of Connect Ministries to serve more churches.

Option 3 – Vision-Driven & Energetic The Church Recruiting Intern plays a key role in expanding the mission of Connect Ministries—building meaningful relationships with church leaders, driving clear communication, and helping more churches experience the support and resources they need to thrive.

The Church Recruiting Intern serves church leaders by building relationships, communicating consistently, and organizing key details so more churches can be served through Connect Ministries.

Sales Team:

The Connect Ministries Sales Team exists to Discover, Qualify, and Establish Partnerships with Churches.

Reports To: Church Recruiting Coordinator

Responsibilities: 

  • Support recruiting outreach and follow-up through calls, email, text, and direct messages as assigned.

  • Assist in qualifying churches by gathering key information, documenting details, and identifying next steps for partnership.

  • Update, clean, and maintain church data in Freshsales CRM to ensure accurate tracking and communication.

  • Draft and organize communication with churches.

  • Support list-building, research, and preparation for outreach campaigns and recruiting pushes.

  • Assist with simple graphics or recruiting support content as needed 

  • Support conference/trade show follow-up by organizing leads, logging notes, and assisting with next-step communication.

  • Participate in Connect Ministries training, feedback, and team check-ins while developing foundational skills in recruiting and communication.

Requirements: 

  • Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.

  • Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader

  • Summer Staff Experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, management, & organization

  • Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

  • Desire to get out of the office & build external relationships

  • Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability

  • Ability to work with database & word processing software

  • Coachable and eager to grow in communication, organization, and recruiting skills.

  • Comfortable engaging people through phone calls, email, text, and in-person connection.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through and organization.

  • Willing to learn and grow with Freshsales CRM Platform

Part-Time - (Unpaid) - (10) Hours per Week - (In-person/Remote)
