Scope:

The Church Recruiting Apprentice serves on the Connect Ministries Sales Team by supporting the execution of church recruiting systems that help Discover, Qualify, Establish, and Equip partnerships across Connect Camps, Connect FCA Camps, Connect Conference, Connect Marketing, and Connect Coaching. This role exists to strengthen recruiting operations including: pipeline organization, mailers, and reporting.Sales Team: The Connect Ministries Sales Team exists to Discover, Qualify, and Establish Partnerships with Churches.

Reports To: Church Recruiting Coordinator

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Church Partner Task Force

  • Manage and maintain recruiting pipelines within Freshsales, ensuring churches are accurately tracked through Discover, Qualify, Establish, and Equip stages.

  • Maintain organized notes, follow-ups, and next steps so churches receive timely, clear communication.

  • Own recruiting mailers, including coordinating lists, timing, printing/shipping logistics, and internal tracking.

  • Track recruiting progress and stats and provide regular updates to support team clarity and planning.

  • Support the Church Recruiting Coordinator by helping keep recruiting priorities organized, communicated, and executed on time.

  • Assist in recruiting execution across Connect Camps, Connect FCA Camps, Connect Conference, Connect Marketing, and Connect Coaching as assigned.

  • Support recruiting events (trade shows, conferences, church visits) through prep, follow-up tracking, and communication organization as needed.

  • Assist in maintaining or organizing recruiting resources (templates, scripts, training tools, documentation)

  • Participate in Connect Ministries training, team meetings, and leadership development.

  • Serve on a Summer Staff Team from May-August

Requirements:

  • Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.

  • Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader

  • Summer Staff Experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, management, & organization

  • Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

  • Desire to get out of the office & build external relationships

  • Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability

  • Ability to work with database & word processing software

  • Coachable and eager to grow in communication, organization, and recruiting skills.

  • Comfortable engaging people through phone calls, email, text, and in-person connection.

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-through and organization.

  • Willing to learn and grow with Freshsales CRM Platform

Part-Time - Paid - 25 Hours per Week - In Person
