Scope:

The Podcast Operations Intern serves on the Connect Ministries Marketing Communications Team by leading the behind-the-scenes strategy, guest outreach, and content publishing of the Connect Ministries Podcast to equip church leaders nationwide.

Marketing Communications Team:

The Connect Ministries Marketing Communications Team exists to create brand awareness of Connect Ministries in order to generate new leads.

Reports To: Marketing Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare podcast briefing documents and interview guides.

  • Ensure the host is fully prepared and equipped for each conversation.

  • Research and identify strategic podcast guest opportunities for Connect Ministries leadership to appear on other podcasts.

  • Draft and send professional pitch emails to podcast hosts.

  • Send guest invitations and manage scheduling logistics for podcast guests.

  • Create episode descriptions, thumbnails, and SEO-optimized titles.

  • Coordinate publishing schedule and episode release flow.

  • Assist the podcast producer (as needed).

  • Ensure support assets (bios, headshots, links, graphics) are collected and stored.

Requirements: 

  • Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries

  • Strong alignment with Connect Ministries’ mission to help churches meet new people

  • Highly organized and task-oriented with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

  • Comfortable communicating professionally via email, phone, and text with pastors, authors, and ministry leaders

  • Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize information into clear, strategic briefing documents

  • Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability

  • Ability to work with database & word processing software

  • Coachable, proactive, and eager to grow in communication, organization, and leadership.

  • Summer Staff experience preferred

Part-Time - (Unpaid) - (10) Hours per Week - (In-person/Remote)
