Position: Logistics Intern
Scope:This role supports the Logistics Team in coordinating Connect Camps and Connect Ministries event logistics. This internship provides hands-on experience in event planning and operations while ensuring clear processes and excellent customer service for families, churches, and staff.
Logistics Team: The Logistics Team exists to create, activate, and manage clear processes, event logistics, and excellent customer service to efficiently support the experiences for families, churches, and staff.
Reports To: Logistics Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Assists in reserving Connect Ministries event vendors
Steward of our consistent event vendor relationships
Assists in managing logistics for Connect Conference
Assists in managing logistics for Staff Training Week
Assists in managing logistics for Fundraising events
Create Crew schedules behind the scenes for Connect Conference
Create Crew schedules behind the scenes for Staff training week
Create Crew schedules behind the scenes for Fundraising
Assist in organizing Church Host travel to Connect Conference
Assist in organizing Summer Staff travel to Staff Training
Helps create processes for all Connect Camps logistics (safety, check-in, checkout, transitions, etc.)
Assist in writing manuals for Connect Camps summer staff team members
Write informative parent content to help them prepare for camp - Videos, emails, texts
Completes all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating schedules, manuals, and parent content.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of event logistics or customer service (prior experience is a plus but not required).
Part-time, unpaid, 10 hours/week, flexible hours
