Scope:
Serve on the Development Team as a primary point of contact for developing and equipping churches to leverage the full range of Connect Ministries services. This role focuses on building healthy, sustainable relationships with Partner Churches and helping them maximize their impact in their communities.
Team Description:
As a branch of the Marketing and Development Team, the Development Team exists to equip and develop churches to become more effective at meeting new people by leveraging Connect Ministries services.
Reports To: Development Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Cultivate and nurture relationships with Connect Ministries church partners to strengthen long-term engagement and retention
Proactively communicate with church partners to provide support, resources, and strategic guidance
Assist in equipping churches to fully leverage Connect Ministries services to maximize their impact in their communities
Assist in identifying partner needs and connect them with relevant tools, training, and opportunities
Develop consistent touchpoints to encourage, support, and re-engage church partners throughout the year
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure church partners receive clear communication and excellent service
Track partner engagement and follow up strategically to increase retention and long-term partnership health
Assist in leading intentional relationship-building efforts for Connect Conference attendees
Assist with Connect Conference Host Church check-ins and engagement
Assist in tracking Connect Conference registration data and providing consistent updates
Assist in managing Asana workflows and maintaining the overall Connect Conference project timeline
Assist in conducting church research and gathering feedback related to Connect Conference strategy and impact
Assist in communicating with past and current Connect Conference registrants, including support before, during, and after the event
Assist in executing the Connect Conference Golden Ticket strategy in partnership with Camp Hosts
Leverage and maximize Asana to streamline project management, track progress, and ensure team collaboration and efficiency
Create and achieve personal and professional goals
Participate in monthly professional development opportunities as part of the Connect Development Program
Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or work teams
Requirements:
Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader
Summer Staff Experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, management, & organization
Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement
Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability
Willing to learn and grow
Desire to innovate in ways that serve Connect Ministries’ mission
Part-Time - 10 Hours per Week - In-person
