Scope:
Serve on the Development Team as a Home Office Contact Support by assisting in the development and equipping of Host churches and FCA Staff, so that they would achieve the mission of Connect FCA Camps.
Team Description:
As a branch of the Marketing and Development Team, the Development Team builds and maintains relationships with Connect FCA Camps Churches and FCA Staff, equipping them to be healthy hosts (who form partnerships with other churches/organizations, maximize their Leadership Team and Connect Ministries resources, make their church visible to families, and effectively plug families back into their church).
Reports To: Development Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Lead and coach Connect FCA Camps Hosts as their Home Office point of contact, guiding them through a structured training plan via monthly video calls and ongoing communication
Lead Customer Relationship Management System, ensuring up-to-date host information and timely communication
Lead Connect Conference Host Profiles
Assist Connect Conference planning and facilitation of the Connect FCA Camps experience
Lead analysis and evaluation of Host activity and progress (marketing, registration, feedback from churches, etc)
Assist as a liaison for church partners, facilitating communication and support for churches bringing campers to Connect FCA Camps
Assist in Connect Conference (in-person)
Lead development, organization, and communication within Host Support Email
Lead with Host Care and Celebrations
Lead development of Volunteer Resources
Assist Volunteer communication plan and schedule in system
Lead coordination of community partnership events as needed
Assist in creation and development of Marketing Box materials
Assist in monthly Host Webinars
Assist in the Development Team Design Process
Lead in the innovation and development of Host training resources
Assist in the collection of Host deliverables throughout the year
Assist Development record-keeping (Host goals, camp registration numbers, finances, etc)
Assist Connect FCA Camps Hub and Volunteer Hub website updates
Leverage and maximize Asana to streamline project management, track progress, and ensure team collaboration and efficiency
Create and achieve personal and professional goals
Participate in monthly professional development opportunities as part of the Connect Development Program
Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or work teams
Requirements:
Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader
Summer Staff Experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, management, & organization
Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement
Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability
Willing to learn and grow
Desire to innovate in ways that serve Connect Ministries’ mission
Part-Time - 25 Hours per Week - In-person
