2025 Advancement Intern
Position: Advancement Intern
Scope: The Advancement Intern is responsible for aiding the Advancement Team in the organization and execution of fundraising, stewardship and communication to donors and community members. (This position is 10 hours a week)
Reports To: Director of Advancement
Responsibilities:
Assist Procurement team in selecting donor appreciation gifts (discovery, options, quotes and orders
Assisting in maintaining and organizing the giving database to ensure donor records are as consistent
Aiding in the organization and execution of solicitation pieces (mail and email)
Assisting in the execution of the stewardship plan for donors
Assisting in the fundraising plan for the Advancement Team
Research and collect data for potential fundraising opportunities
Ensure Advancement materials are consistent with branding policies
Adhere and follow through of the Advancement Communication Plan
All other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
An evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith
on a daily basis; agrees with Connect's mission and supports the vision, values,
and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
Preferred experience in Canva
Strong project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage very detailed workloads
Ability to focus on details with accuracy for data, reports, and external material
Pleasant demeanor
Creative and engaging thinker that takes initiative
Desire to learn about fundraising, marketing and event planning
Willing to learn and grow with CRM Platforms
Part-Time - (Unpaid) - (10) Hours per Week - (In-person)
