Creative Artistic Programming Apprentice

Position: Creative Artistic Programming Apprentice

Scope: Helps churches meet new people by assisting with Connect Camps daily programming and Connect Ministries events. This person helps to ensure that camp and events stay relevant by providing fresh/new ideas, assisting with artistic programming projects, and participating in creative brainstorming.   

Creative Team: The Creative Team cultivates remarkable moments and fosters creativity within Connect Ministries so that we can provide programming that caters to the needs of the local church.

Reports To: Creative Specialist

Responsibilities: 

• Participate in Creative Team Development Opportunities
• Participate in leadership development 1 on 1 meetings
• Fully participate in the Connect Development Program 
• Assist in the creative brainstorming 
• Lead in indoor skill programming 
• Lead  theme drama and motions creation
• Lead  worship leader manual and selecting worship songs
• Lead stage host manual and stage games development
• Lead in Developing Family Content
• Lead in formatting print projects
• Lead in creation of run sheets

Requirements:

• Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
• Summer Staff Experience preferred
• Excellent Communication Skills, Management, & Organization
• Eager to learn new things 
• Interested in Creative Brainstorms and Problem-Solving 
• Has experience in the arts (singing, creating motions, acting etc)
• Has experience in directing or scriptwriting 
• Has experience with indoors skills at camp
• Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

Part-Time – (25 hours per week paid):  In-person
