Position: Connect Marketing Intern

Scope: Helps churches meet new people by assisting with hands-on marketing implementation, organization, and education of foundational church marketing systems.

Marketing Team: The Marketing Team helps churches meet new people by creating and implementing a clear marketing and communication strategy. 

Reports To: Connect Marketing Apprentice

Responsibilities: 

• Assist account management for Connect Marketing Church Social Media Partners
• Assist with social media strategy execution as assigned
• Support post scheduling, publishing, and basic engagement monitoring
• Complete social media-related tasks assigned by the Connect Marketing Apprentice
• Assist in creating Church Partner communication calendars
• Assist in creating Church Partner content calendars
• Support content organization, formatting, and scheduling
• Execute calendar-related tasks assigned by the Apprentice
• Assist in updating all Church Partner social media insight reporting
• Collect basic social media metrics as assigned
• Ensure reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time
• Update reporting documents and dashboards under Apprentice direction
• Maintain organized files, assets, and task updates
• Participate in training, feedback, and team check-ins
• Develop foundational skills in church-focused digital marketing

Requirements:

• Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
• Digital Marketing or Graphic Design experience preferred
• Excellent Design/Creative Skills & Organization
• Eager to learn new things 
• Interested in Creative Brainstorms and Problem-Solving 
• Experience in Social Media Management
• Highly knowledgeable about digital design and skills relating to them
• Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

Part-Time – (10 hours per week paid):  In-person or Remote
