Position: Connect Camps Intern on Development Team
Scope: Serve on the Development Team as a Home Office Contact for Host Churches by assisting in the leadership and execution of Host training.
Team Description: As a branch of the Marketing and Development Team, the Development Team builds and maintains relationships with Connect Camps Host Churches, equipping them to be healthy hosts (who form partnerships with other churches/organizations, maximize their Leadership Team and Connect Ministries resources, make their church visible to families, and effectively plug families back into their church).
Reports To: Connect Camps Apprentice
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach Connect Camps Host Churches as their Home Office point of contact, guiding them through a structured training plan via monthly video calls and ongoing communication
- Lead Customer Relationship Management System, ensuring up-to-date host information and timely communication
- Lead Connect Conference Host Profiles
- Lead analysis and evaluation of Host Church activity and progress (marketing, registration, feedback from churches, etc)
- Assist as a liaison for church partners, facilitating communication and support for churches bringing campers to Connect Camps
- Assist development, organization, and communication within Host Support Email ([email protected])
- Assist as a liaison for church partners, facilitating communication and support for churches bringing campers to Connect Camps
- Assist with Host Care and Celebrations
- Assist tracking and celebration of Growth Incentives from Host Church Agreement
- Assist Legacy Host (4+ years) training and celebration plan
- Assist development of Connect Crew Resources
- Assist Connect Crew Communication in Active Registration
- Assist in monthly Host Webinars and slide creation
- Assist in the Development Team Design Process
- Assist in creation and development of Marketing Box materials
- Assist in the innovation and development of Host Church training resources
- Assist in the collection of Host Church deliverables throughout the year
- Assist Development record-keeping (Host goals, camp registration numbers, finances, etc)
- Assist in Connect Conference (in-person)
- Assist Connect Conference Host registration
- Leverage and maximize Asana to streamline project management, track progress, and ensure team collaboration and efficiency
- Create and achieve personal and professional goals
- Participate in monthly professional development opportunities as part of the Connect Development Program
- Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor or work teams
Requirements:
- Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
- Relationship-minded, Kingdom- driven, & task-oriented servant leader
- Summer Staff Experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, management, & organization
- Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement
- Demonstrate presence, self-confidence, common sense, & good listening ability
- Willing to learn and grow
- Desire to innovate in ways that serve Connect Ministries’ mission
