Creative Design Intern

Position: Creative Design Intern

Scope: Helps churches meet new people by assisting with Connect Camps daily programming and Connect Ministries events. This person helps to ensure that camp and events stay relevant by providing fresh/new ideas, assisting with new design projects, and participating in creative brainstorming.   

Creative Team: The Creative Team cultivates remarkable moments and fosters creativity within Connect Ministries so that we can provide programming that caters to the needs of the local church.

Reports To: Creative Design Specialist

Responsibilities: 

• Participate in Creative Team Development Opportunities
• Participate in leadership development 1 on 1 meetings
• Fully participate in the Connect Development Program 
• Assist in the Brainstorming and Creating Pack Track and General Camp Decor 
• Lead in designing diagrams for skills and packs
• Assist with Skill Test Day
• Assist in editing, formatting, and designing camp staff resources
• Assist with design and decor assignments for Connect Ministries Events
• Assist with the Creation of look and feel for various presentations
• Assist with design look and feel for camp audi screen elements
• Assist in submitting designs and giving revisions to Brandan Ritchey Creative
• Assist in Developing Parent Content
• Assist in slide design process for Connect events 

Requirements:

• Applicant must be an evangelical believer actively involved in a church and living out his/her faith on a daily basis; agrees and supports the vision, values, and philosophy of Connect Ministries.
• Summer Staff Experience preferred
• Excellent Communication Skills, Management, & Organization
• Eager to learn new things 
• Interested in Creative Brainstorms and Problem-Solving 
• Has experience working on design related projects/ has an eye for design
• Has experience in canva
• Interest in & compatibility with our mission & vision statement

Part-Time – (10 hours per week):  In-person or Remote
